Angel Face, is a free verse poetry journal in which selected poems are arranged according the Rosary prayer pattern (according to the Rosary mysteries). The poet Mary Agnes Dalrymple, author of "Water Tender" and "Rosa Mystica: Poems from the Rosary and Other Poems," is the editor of Angel Face.

Angel Face seeks strong visual non-rhyming poems of the human experience. The editor wants to see poems that move us and connect us to others. The poems accepted for publication in Angel Face are arranged according to the Rosary prayer pattern (according to the Rosary mysteries), but poets need not be Catholic or Christian to submit.

Each issue contains an average of 42 poems by 30 poets. Most of the poems published in Angel Face were probably not written with the Rosary in mind. Editor prefers secular/spiritual poems from life, but will also consider poetry written from the Biblical source material for the Rosary mysteries.

Some possible themes of the Rosary are -- joy, sorrow, birth, re-birth, epiphany, losing God, finding God, death, forgiveness, redemption, change, transformation, transcendence, resurrection, humility, obedience, etc . . . The goal of each issue with each issue of Angel Face is to bring the Rosary mysteries "into life."

The editor is open to all spiritual viewpoints, but not interested in seeing negative, derogatory, anti-Catholic or anti-religion poetry or writings. Also not interested in seeing didactic or preachy poetry, or anything that seeks to promote one religion over another. No rhyme, first drafts, or greeting card style verse.

Poets published in Angel Face retain "all rights" to their work and will receive one free copy of the issue in which their poem or poems appear. Previously published poems and simultaneous submissions okay with proper notification.

Angel Face is desktop published, printed on acid-free paper and hand-bound with waxed Irish linen thread by the editor.

Cost per issue is $5.00 plus $2.00 postage and handling = $7.00 total. Texas residents please add an additional 32 cents sales tax.
