The Angel Face project has run it's course. As of today ( 2-1-10) I will no longer be considering poetry for publication in Angel Face.

Copies of all 4 issues of Angel Face are available while supplies last. The word most often used to describe Angel Face is "lovely." I hope, for the sake of the contributing poets and their poetry, you will consider ordering a copy, even though Angel Face is no longer being published.

Each issue of Angel Face is desktop published on all acid-free paper and hand bound with waxed Irish linen thread by its editor and publisher, Mary Agnes Dalrymple. Mary also created the cover artwork for all four issues.

Angel Face, is a free verse poetry journal in which selected poems are arranged according the Rosary prayer pattern (according to the Rosary mysteries). The poet Mary Agnes Dalrymple, author of "Water Tender: A Memoir in Poems" and "Rosa Mystica: Poems from the Rosary and Other Poems," is the editor and publisher of Angel Face.

For Angel Face, the editor sought strong non-rhyming poems of the human experience. Poems were selected that touched on some aspect or theme of a particular rosary mystery. Mary selected poetry without regard for the poet's religion or background. Catholic and other Christian poets were published, as were Jewish poets and those of other non-Christian faiths.

Most of the poems published in Angel Face were not written with the Rosary in mind. The goal of each issue with each issue of Angel Face was to bring the Rosary Mysteries "into life."

The name Angel Face is a reference to both the rose of the same name and Mary, the mother of Jesus.
